Determinants of Remanufacturing Adoption for Circular Economy: A Causal Relationship Evaluation Framework

Organizations are transforming their linear models into circular in order to become more sustainable. Remanufacturing is an essential element of the model; thus, there urgent need adopt remanufacturing. It can offer organizations economic and environmental advantages facilitate transition a economy (CE). Several aspects crucial use remanufacturing methods CE. Therefore, this study, we aimed develop framework for investigating causal relationship among determinants adopting processes economy. Through integrated approach comprising literature review Modified Delphi Method, identified ten adoption determinants. The these was established using DEMATEL method. Furthermore, classified cause effect groups. Five determinants, “consumer preferences”, “remanufacturing framework”, “market opportunities”, “management commitment”, “preferential tax policies”, belong group, remaining five group based on score. To implement economy, it necessary pay greater attention especially those that group. outcomes study may aid management policy makers formulating strategies effectively implementing within organizations.
